I was so fortunate to get to make this film with Jimmy Doolittle, aviator, inventor, General, warrior, the man who led the famous Tokyo raid and the Doolittle Raiders in World War II. The war was not going well and what Doolittle and his men did was an attempt to change that. I loved being on an aircraft carrier with 5800 sailors. Most exciting was the flight deck. I couldn't believe it. I almost got killed several times being where I shouldn't be but sailors on the flight deck yanked me out of the way so that the chain holding a fighter jet didn't hit me. The aircraft carrier is designed to project American power around the world and to be used when necessary and to work when needed.
